Built for a real Black Hills winter

Snow leaves metal in a sheet.

That is why we plan the snow path before the panels go on. Guards belong above doors, decks, walkways, driveways, and lower roofs.

Snow guards where people need to be safe.

On standing seam, clamp-on bars grip the seams without drilling a hole in the panel. We set them where a sliding sheet of snow could hit someone, block an entry, damage a lower roof, or land on a vehicle.

Installed snow guards usually run $18 to $30 per linear foot, depending on the roof and layout.

Water management under the panel.

  • Every eave and valleyIce-and-water membrane goes where meltwater and ice dam pressure matter most.
  • Heat cable, only if it earns its placeWe will tell you where it actually helps and where it would just be an expensive habit.
  • Year-round installationWe install when the deck is dry, including through winter conditions when the roof is ready.
